Vacation House in Antiparos I
The scope of the project involved the major renovation of an existing vacation house and its surrounding courtyards and terraces. The old building walls, the existing doors and windows, the pergolas as well as the electromechanical infrastructure were demolished in order to bare the concrete structure and reinforce it.
The brief of the client was to entirely renovate the house without altering its original character and allure. The new materials and finishes were carefully combined in order to create a unique ambience, a home that weathers elegantly with time. The furniture and accessories, all selected by the architects, complement the design.
The outdoor seating area was extended and a new swimming pool, a two bedroom guest house and a fitness area were added, harmoniously integrated with the surrounding landscape, allowing the imposing sea views to enter in almost every space.
